For the 23rd consecutive year, Maclean’s Magazine has ranked the University of Waterloo as the most innovative school in the country. But do students really know what makes the University of Waterloo innovative? What are the resources and support systems that have nurtured Waterloo’s innovation ecosystem? How can an aspiring entrepreneur get access to them? And how do they work?

Find answers to these questions and more on Entrepreneurship Society’s first ever InnovaTour: an expedition to visit the most innovative sites on campus & in the Waterloo region! EntSoc will be leading the InnovaTour to four destinations on campus (Velocity Residence, St. Paul’s GreenHouse, The CONRAD Centre, and The Accelerator Centre) and ending in downtown Kitchener at The Communitech Hub, where attendees will be treated to dinner and a Startup Chat by Joseph Fung, the head of NetSuite Waterloo and Co-Founder of TribeHR before its acquisition by Netsuite.

On the tour, get up and personal with each destination: learn about how they work, what their place is in Waterloo’s ecosystem, and what they can do for you! There will also be plenty of opportunities for free swag and attendees will be given a passport at the beginning of the tour which they can keep as a resource on innovation and entrepreneurship at Waterloo.

The InnovaTour will be on Tuesday November 17th, starting at 5:00pm at the Velocity Residence so be sure to register online! Join the excitement on social media with the hashtag #InnovaTour.
