Conrad

The Conrad School is an immersive educational environment for aspiring entrepreneurs and is based in the Engineering 7 building at the University of Waterloo. They offer courses and opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.

Concept

Concept is Velocity’s experiential entrepreneurship and pre-incubator program at the University of Waterloo. They provide information, coaching and grants for the entrepreneurially-curious and tailored pre-incubator programs for aspiring startup founders.

GreenHouse

GreenHouse is a community for innovators who want to create social and environmental change. They offer programming to set aspiring social entrepreneurs on the right path, and are open to all UW students during your academic or co-op term. You can find them at St. Pauls University College at the University of Waterloo.

Problem Lab

The University of Waterloo's Problem Lab is the first of it's kind in Canada and is designed to help innovators create ventures of significant economic and social consequence. They provide guidance on how to find meaningful problems and develop professional skills through workshops, mentorship and pitch competitions. These programs are available to all undergraduate and graduate UW students

Zero Experience

Zero experience is a termly entrepreneurial program run at the University of Waterloo and funded by the Problem Lab. For only six hours of commitment a week, students will be able to experience the entire entrepreneurial process with guidance from experienced mentors and professionals. Along the way, students will learn valuable skills such as leadership, research, public speaking, and above all—an entrepreneurial mindset.

Renison University College

Renison University College is affiliated with the University of Waterloo and offer programs for international students among other language, culture, and arts courses. We partnered with Renison to give entrepreneurial exposure and opportunity to the international students at the University of Waterloo.

The Founder's Institute - Waterloo

The Founder Institute is the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, having helped launch over 4,500 companies across 200+ cities and six continents. They offer opportunities for founders who are in their pre-seed stage and are pursuing their venture full-time. They also host events for the general public.
